The parks around the tombs of Kings and Queens of Joseon Dynasty become a place to relax for people who are very busy in the big city, Gangnam. Let’s learn about the history and traditions of Gangnam during Joseon era.

[Seolleung Royal Tomb]

This tomb is located in Gangnam-gu. It is surrounded by modern buildings, so it takes on the character of a neighborhood park. There are two tombs. One is the burial ground of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon. The other tomb which is called Jeongneung is for King Jungjong.

[Bongeunsa Temple]
